  • 3 ripe plantains
  • 1 lb ground beef or shredded chicken
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel ripe plantains and cut into thick fries.
  2. Fry plantain fries until golden and tender.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground meat with onion and garlic.
  4. Season meat with salt and pepper.
  5. In an oven-safe dish, layer plantain fries.
  6. Top with cooked meat mixture.
  7. Add layers of ketchup and mayonnaise.
