Ingredients

  • 3 green plantains
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chili powder, garlic powder, paprika

Instructions

  1. Peel green plantains using a knife.
  2. Slice plantains very thinly using mandoline or sharp knife.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry plantain slices in batches until crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels immediately.
  6. Season with salt while hot.
  7. Add optional spices if desired.
  8. Store in airtight container once cooled.
